Job summary

Kidcreate Studio South Charlotte is seeking talented art instructors to teach the new Kidcreate Academy curriculum. You will help students build real artistic skills over time in a fun, supportive environment and deliver structured lessons.

We provide curriculum and supplies, hours 10-25 per week, training, mileage reimbursement, and a flexible schedule. Compensation is $20.00–$26.00 per hour, with prep, setup, class time, and cleanup paid.

Qualifications

• Strong foundation in art (drawing, painting, color theory).
• Portfolio of 5–10 pieces or a website link with application.
• Experience managing a classroom and relevant coursework in art education.

Responsibilities

Core Qualifications

Candidates must have a strong foundation in art (drawing, painting, color theory) and are required to submit a 5-10 piece art portfolio or website link with their application. They should also have experience managing a classroom and ideally possess a degree or coursework in Art Education, Fine Arts, or Design.

Specializing in children's art classes, camps, and art-themed birthday parties, Kidcreate Studio is an art studio just for kids. At Kidcreate Studio, children will create fridge-worthy masterpieces, learn art concepts, and experiment with many different art materials.

Weekly classes, camps, workshops and homeschool classes are age-specific and are tailored to provide each student with the curriculum that suits them best.
