Job summary

Kidcreate Studio South Charlotte is seeking enthusiastic art instructors to teach our Kidcreate Academy curriculum. You will guide children through foundational art techniques in a fun, supportive environment and deliver structured lessons that build real skills over time.

The role supports teaching 10–25 hours weekly, with paid prep, setup, and cleanup time. Benefits include uniforms, flexible scheduling, and mileage reimbursement.

Qualifications

• Strong foundation in art (drawing, painting, color theory) and portfolio submission.
• Experience managing a classroom.
• Degree or coursework in Art Education, Fine Arts, or Design.

Responsibilities

The role is ideal for educators who enjoy working with children and can confidently teach foundational art techniques in a fun, supportive environment.

Core QualificationsCandidates must have a strong foundation in art (drawing, painting, color theory) and are required to submit a 5-10 piece art portfolio or website link with their application. They should also have experience managing a classroom and ideally possess a degree or coursework in Art Education, Fine Arts, or Design.

Responsibilities

Compensation: $20.00 - $28.00 per hour

Kidcreate art classes are a great way to introduce children to the wonderful world of art! We provide a positive, self-esteem-building environment for children to explore the visual arts. Children get messy with paint, clay, and so much more!

Specializing in children's art classes, camps, and art-themed birthday parties, Kidcreate Studio is an art studio just for kids. At Kidcreate Studio, children will create fridge-worthy masterpieces, learn art concepts, and experiment with many different art materials.

Weekly classes, camps, workshops and homeschool classes are age-specific and are tailored to provide each student with the curriculum that suits them best.
