About Children's Aid Children’s Aid is a New York City nonprofit dedicated to helping children, youth, and families thrive through education, health, workforce development, and community-based services. About the Project The Data Quality & Continuous Improvement will support the Youth Division by strengthening the systems, tools, and processes that help staff use data to improve programs and outcomes. What You'll do The VISTA will assess and organize existing data practices; develop data readiness trackers, system maps, user guides, and standard operating procedures; and create templates and tools to strengthen continuous improvement and Data Rhythm meetings. The VISTA will document workflows, clarify data ownership and sources of truth, reduce duplicate tracking, and develop resources that support consistent data practices across programs. The member will also research emerging technologies, including AI-assisted productivity tools, and develop recommendations to improve organizational efficiency. Member Duties

The Data Systems & Continuous Improvement Infrastructure VISTA supports Children’s Aid by strengthening systems that help staff use data to improve outcomes for youth and families. Located in New York City, the VISTA will assess data practices; create readiness trackers, system maps, user guides, templates, and standard operating procedures; and document workflows to boost data quality. The member will enhance Data Rhythm and continuous improvement by building meeting tools, action trackers, and shared resources. Additionally, the VISTA will clarify data ownership, eliminate duplicate tracking, and research emerging AI productivity tools to drive efficiency. Through this role, the member gains hands‑on experience in data management, technology, process improvement, and capacity building while creating sustainable systems that benefit staff long beyond the service term.
