About Children’s Aid Children’s Aid is a New York City-based organization dedicated to helping children, youth, and families succeed through education, workforce development, health, and community-based programs. About the Project The Carnegie Grant Initiative expands learning, career exploration, workforce readiness, and skill-building opportunities for youth and young adults. The VISTA will strengthen the systems that support these programs and help create sustainable resources for continued impact.

Member Duties

The Carnegie Grant Program Support VISTA will serve with Children’s Aid in NYC to strengthen systems that expand youth development, career exploration, and workforce-readiness opportunities. The VISTA will develop program tools, improve data and reporting systems, strengthen school and community partnerships, support youth programming, and create communications and impact materials. The VISTA will document best practices and establish sustainable processes that support staff beyond the service term. This position offers experience in nonprofit program management, grant support, data and evaluation, workforce development, community engagement, and organizational capacity building. The ideal candidate is organized, collaborative, motivated, and eager to learn, with strong communication and problem-solving skills. Experience with data, spreadsheets, communications, or program coordination is a plus. Serve in NYC, build professional skills, and help create lasting opportunities for youth.
