Job summary

Learning Care Group is seeking a Team Lead to support day-to-day operations and mentor teachers across our Florida childcare centers. In absence of the Director, you may assist with opening and closing the school and ensuring compliance with licensing guidelines and company standards.

You will create engaging learning experiences, mentor staff, and communicate with parents to support each child's growth, while contributing to a positive, collaborative work environment.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• High School diploma or equivalent.
• Must meet state requirements for education and additional center/school requirements may apply.
• Experience coaching and training staff members.
• Associates degree in early childhood education or child development or a CDA.
• Experience working in a licensed childcare facility, leading a classroom as well as creating educational lesson plans.

Responsibilities

• Mentor fellow teachers while supporting directors in daily school operations.
• Take on duties of Director or Assistant Director in their absence, including opening/closing the school.
• Ensure daily care of every child following licensing guidelines and company standards.
• Create fun, interactive learning experiences while mentoring teachers.
• Communicate with parents and prospective parents to support child success.
