Job summary

Building Blocks Child Care Center, Inc. in Pullman, WA is seeking Teacher's Assistants to support our high-quality childcare program. Start date is August 2026 with a starting wage of $17.15/hour.

You will assist in educational activities, help maintain a clean classroom, and communicate with families to support children's growth. The role requires a High School Diploma or GED (or some college with classroom experience), ability to lift up to 30 lbs, and a Monday–Friday schedule.

• Experience assisting in a classroom and supporting children's activities
• Ability to lift up to 30 lbs and assist with daily care tasks

Responsibilities

• Assist in implementing educational activities and developing relationships with families.
• Maintain a clean, organized classroom and ensure materials are accessible.
• Communicate with parents about children's progress and needs.
• Support teachers in curriculum-based activities and transitions.
• Provide daily care activities including diapering and hygiene assistance.
