Job summary

The Sunshine House Early Learning Academy is hiring a Summer Camp Childcare Teacher in Greer, SC. You will help create a safe, nurturing environment and lead activities for children ages 6 weeks to 12 years in a camp setting.

Starting pay is $15.00 per hour with potential increases based on education, experience, and performance. Regular raises are considered with additional education and tenure. This role follows a Monday–Friday schedule at our Greer location.

Qualifications

• Passion for working with young children.
• At least 18 years old.
• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• ECD 101 or higher preferred.
• Previous experience in licensed childcare.
• Ability to pass background checks & health assessments.
• Ability to lift up to 30 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Ensure a safe, healthy, and nurturing learning environment.
• Create an engaging classroom where children can learn, play, and grow.
• Support children's social and emotional development.
• Plan outdoor activities or sports for groups of campers.
• Transport children to and from field trips.
• Build strong partnerships with families through daily app updates and personal discussions.

Compensation & Pay: Starting at $15.00 per hour. Candidates with advanced education and experience in early childhood education may qualify for higher pay within the range. Regular increases are considered with additional education, stellar performance, and years of service.
