Job summary

The Sunshine House Early Learning Academy in Travelers Rest, SC is seeking a childcare teacher to create a safe, nurturing classroom where children learn through play and guided activities. You’ll implement Creative Curriculum and Brain Connect programs while supporting social and emotional growth.

Ideal candidates have a passion for early childhood education, a high school diploma or equivalent, and readiness to complete background checks and health assessments.

Qualifications

• Passion for working with young children.
• At least 18 years old.
• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Ability to pass background checks & health assessments.
• Ability to lift up to 30 lbs.
• At least 30 days paid teaching experience in DSS licensed daycare setting required.
• ECD 101 or degree in Early Childhood Education or related field preferred.

Compensation & Pay Range: Starting at $15 per hour

Candidates with advanced education and experience in early childhood education may qualify for higher pay within the range. Regular increases are considered with additional education, stellar performance, and years of service.
