The Sunshine House Early Learning Academy in Greer, SC is seeking a Childcare Teacher to support learning through Creative Curriculum and Brain Connect programs. You will foster a safe, engaging classroom and partner with families to monitor development.

Starting at $17 per hour, with potential increases for higher education or experience. This position typically follows a Mon-Fri schedule with competitive benefits and growth opportunities.

Qualifications

• Passion for working with young children.
• Must be at least 18 years old.
• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Bachelor's Degree in Early Childhood Education, Elementary Education, or related field required. An Associate's Degree is acceptable if pursuing Bachelor's.

Position Available At: 2685 Dry Pocket Road, Greer, SC 29650

Compensation & Pay Range: Starting at $17 per hour. Candidates with advanced education and experience in early childhood education may qualify for higher pay within the range. Regular increases are considered with additional education, stellar performance, and years of service.

Teacher Responsibilities

• Have fun and work as part of a supportive team.

Requirements

• Passion for working with young children.
• At least 18 years old.
• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Ability to pass background checks & health assessments.
• Ability to lift up to 30 lbs. for child safety and emergencies.
• ECD 101 or higher for assistant teachers.
• Bachelor's Degree in Early Childhood Education, Elementary Education, or related field required. An Associate's Degree is acceptable if the candidate is enrolled and/or working toward a Bachelor's Degree.
• At least 6 months of experience at a licensed childcare center preferred.
