Placements24 is seeking a proactive Childcare Program Coordinator to oversee operations at their Welkom center. You will supervise staff, develop age-appropriate activities, ensure safety, and maintain quality of care.

The role focuses on leadership, program development, regulatory compliance, parent communication, and budget adherence to create a nurturing environment for children from early years to school readiness.

Qualifications

• Relevant qualification in Early Childhood Development or a related field.
• Proven experience in a supervisory or management role within a childcare setting.
• Strong understanding of child development, pedagogy, and best practices in early years education.
• Excellent organizational, communication, and leadership skills.
• Knowledge of relevant childcare legislation and licensing requirements.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and support childcare staff, including scheduling, training, and performance management.
• Develop, implement, and evaluate age-appropriate curriculum and daily activities for all age groups.
• Ensure compliance with all relevant childcare regulations, health, and safety standards.
• Manage parent communications, inquiries, and feedback to foster strong relationships.
• Oversee the daily operations of the childcare center, including resource management and budget adherence.
