Job summary

Bright Horizons Children's Centers is seeking a Food Service Worker to support children, families, and staff with nutritious meals from breakfast to snacks in a childcare setting.

You will prepare, portion, and deliver premade meals following menus, safety guidelines, and daily attendance, while maintaining a clean kitchen and coordinating with staff and vendors for smooth meal service.

Qualifications

• Background checks required by state and Bright Horizons
• Must be 18+ with high school diploma or GED
• Food handler certification within 30 days of hire required
• Course work or certification in Nutrition preferred
• Previous food service in childcare, school cafeteria, or high-volume setting preferred

Responsibilities

• Prepare, portion, and deliver premade nutritious meals and snacks following approved menus, daily attendance, nutritional guidelines, and food safety requirements.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized kitchen by following sanitation, health, allergen management, and inventory procedures, including ordering and storage of food and supplies.
• Partner with center staff, leadership, and vendors to support daily classroom routines, special dietary needs, and smooth meal service operations
