Job summary

The Growing Years of Clayton is seeking Floaters/Teacher Aides to support all age groups. A high school diploma or GED and the ability to pass background checks are required; childcare experience is a plus. Shifts are Monday–Friday, 7:00am–4:00pm or 9:00am–6:00pm.

Compensation is $15–$18/hr based on education and experience, with paid trainings and a generous benefits package including insurance and a 401k match.

Responsibilities

• Willingness to substitute for any position, covering breaks, absences, and classroom duties.
• Demonstrate patience, kindness and positive interactions with children, parents and staff.
• Operate as a team player and help where needed under the lead teacher.
• Physical ability to work around small children, including sitting, standing, walking, running, and stairs.
• Lift and carry up to 40 lbs and meet all physical requirements.

The Growing Years of Clayton is a licensed childcare center seeking Floaters/Teacher Aides to work with all age groups! To be QUALIFIED for this position, we require a high school diploma OR GED and the ability to pass all background checks. A plus if you have previous childcare experience!

Required Shift: Monday - Friday, 7:00am - 4:00pm OR 9:00am - 6:00pm

Main Job Responsibilities

• Willingness to effectively substitute for any position as needed. This includes covering staff members’ breaks, filling in for staff members in their absences, and assuming the classroom duties of staff members before or after their scheduled shifts.
