Job summary

Primrose School of Sioux Falls at Heather Ridge in Sioux Falls, SD is seeking an Education Coach to support and mentor early childhood teachers in delivering high-quality care and education.

You will conduct classroom observations, support onboarding, and help teachers implement the Balanced Learning curriculum while partnering with leaders to ensure safety and growth in a nurturing environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Early Childhood Education or related field preferred.
• Strong communication, coaching and mentorship skills.
• Experience supporting teachers in early childhood settings.

You’ll inspire and encourage teachers by:

• Supporting teachers across all classroom age groups
• Collaborating with the leadership team to build engaging onboarding experiences for new teachers
• Conducting classroom observations to support and ensure implementation of the research-informed Balanced Learning® curriculum
• Supporting teachers' use of our exclusive digital curriculum platform
• Stepping into classrooms as needed to maintain ratio
• Helping teachers gather and create curriculum materials

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree required (Early Childhood Education, Child Development, or related field preferred)
• Genuine passion for working with children and supporting their development
• Prior experience in early childhood education or classroom teaching preferred
• Strong communication, coaching, and mentorship skills
• Ability to build trusting, collaborative relationships with teachers and staff
• Comfortable providing hands-on classroom support and constructive feedback
• Organized, dependable, and adaptable in a fast-paced environment
• Meets state licensing requirements for child care staff (background check, health screening, etc.)
