Job summary

All Around Children is seeking a Custodian for our Middlefield, Ohio center. You will perform cleaning tasks in classrooms, offices, restrooms, and common areas to support a safe, healthy environment for children and staff.

The role requires working evenings after 6:00 PM for 2-3 hours, three days per week, and a high school diploma or equivalent. Prior custodial experience and the ability to pass a background check are preferred. Vaccinations and TB screening are noted requirements.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Previous experience in commercial cleaning or custodial work preferred.
• Must be able to work evenings after 6:00PM for 2-3 hours, 3 days a week.
• Must be able to pass a background check.
• Experience in facilities maintenance is a plus.
• Tdap and MMR Vaccination.
• TB Screening.

Responsibilities

• Perform general cleaning tasks such as dusting, mopping, sweeping, and vacuuming.
• Clean and sanitize restrooms, break rooms, classrooms, and other common areas.
• Complete routine trash removal.
• Assist with inventory management, including ordering and receiving of cleaning supplies.
• Maintain positive relationships with children, staff and parents, and communicate effectively with all members of the team.
• Attend and participate in professional development and training sessions as needed.

All Around Children is currently accepting applications for a Custodian to add to our growing team at our Gold Rated (SUTQ) childcare and preschool center in Middlefield, Ohio.

In this role, you will support the center in various tasks. Your responsibilities will include daily, weekly, and monthly cleaning schedules including but not limited to classrooms, office areas, bathrooms, storage areas, outdoor playgrounds, and entrances.
