Job summary

Gallup-McKinley County Schools is seeking a Childcare Center Specialist to work with the Supervisor to oversee day-to-day operations of the Bright Futures Childcare Center. You will coordinate projects to support early educational program activities and operations within the childcare setting.

The role requires collaboration with the Director, supervision of Childcare Technicians, and involvement in recruitment, staff training, and policy development.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Early Childhood or related field is required.
• Must be able to obtain any required background clearance from the Early Childhood Education and Care Department.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with the Director regarding development and implementation of childcare processes, policies and procedures.
• Support Technicians in curriculum planning and behavior management; design engaging activities and maintain a safe learning environment.
• Facilitate a customer service oriented climate by providing helpful, responsive, and timely support to visitors.
