Qualifications

• Education and licensing requirements per state childcare rules.
• Experience in childcare or early childhood education settings.
• Prior leadership, supervisory, or program management preferred.
• Knowledge of child development and classroom management.
• Strong communication and organizational skills.
• Ability to lead a team and manage multiple priorities.
• CPR/First Aid certification or willingness to obtain.
• Background checks and health clearances as required.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily operations and enrollment management.
• Recruit, hire, train, supervise, and evaluate staff.
• Ensure developmentally appropriate curriculum and environments.
• Maintain health, safety, and licensing compliance.
• Engage families with proactive communication and updates.
• Maintain documentation, staff files, and emergencies plans.
• Assist budgeting, scheduling, and resource management.
• Monitor quality and support staff development.
