Inspire Early Education in Harrisburg, PA is seeking an experienced Assistant Director to aid the Center Director in daily operations and to help shape the early educational journey of children.

You will implement an Emergent Curriculum, support families, and work with specialists to meet each child’s needs while ensuring a safe, stimulating classroom environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in early childhood education is required.
• EEC Director Qualified Certification is required.
• At least 1 year of supervisory experience is required.
• Ability to pass background and health requirements.

What You’ll Do:

• Help educators foster a nurturing and stimulating learning environment through the implementation of an Emergent Curriculum.
• Working closely with the Center Director to ensure the day-to-day operations of the center.
• Ensure teachers are supporting children's emotional, physical, and cognitive development while maintaining a safe and healthy classroom environment.
• Engage with parents and families, providing support and communication about their child's progress.
• Collaborate with professionals and support children with their specialized needs as necessary.
• Maintain documentation and records, ensuring compliance with state regulations.

Who You Are

• Bachelor’s degree in early childhood education or equivalent ( Required )
• EEC Director Qualified Certification ( Required )
• At least 1 year of supervisory experience ( Required )
• Strong communication and teamwork skills
• A positive attitude and passion for working with children
• Ability to pass background and health requirements
