Job summary

Learning Care Group is hiring an Assistant Director to oversee the safe, effective operation of the school alongside the School Director in Michigan. In the Director’s absence, you will assume sole responsibility and support the social, physical, and intellectual growth of the children.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 21 years of age.
• Must have previous leadership experience and at least 1 year of experience working in a licensed childcare facility.
• High School diploma or equivalent.
• Must meet state requirements for education and our center/school requirements.

Responsibilities

• Oversee the safe, effective operation of the school with the School Director.
• In the Director's absence, assume sole responsibility for the school.
• Promote the social, physical, and intellectual growth of the children.
• Recruit, select, and retain quality staff.
