Job summary

Active Wellness LLC is seeking a Childcare Attendant for the McKinleyville club to supervise children and foster a safe, fun environment. You will implement programs from the Lead, ensure hygiene, respond to parents, and coordinate with all departments. This role requires strong communication and a customer-focused approach.

Qualifications

• Six units of college credit in basic child development.
• Two years of experience with children (infant to 12 years) in a group setting.
• Ability to lift 25 pounds and stand for long periods.
• AED/CPR/First Aid certification is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and interact with members' children in the child care facility.
• Execute programs developed by the Child Care Lead and maintain safety and hygiene.
• Respond to parents and fulfill child care service needs.
• Report unsafe conditions to the manager and assist with injuries.
• Promote club services and participate in center activities.

Location: The Club for Fitness - McKinleyville, CAPay Transparency: $17.00 - $18.00 per hour (DOE) Minimum rates may vary based on local wage laws. Pay depends on factors including site location, specialty, certifications, work experience, and other business needs.Role and ResponsibilitiesThe Childcare Attendant is responsible for supervising and interacting with members' children who are using the child care facility.
