Job summary

Chambliss Center for Children is seeking a part-time Teacher Assistant for weekend day shifts (8am-6pm) to support our extended hours program for children ages 3-12. You will help create a safe, engaging environment while supervising an mixed-age group during weekend care.

Teacher Assistant - Weekend Days (Extended Early Childhood Education)

Looking for flexible, rewarding weekend work in childcare? Chambliss Center for Children is seeking Teacher Assistants to join our extended hours team on a part-time and as-needed basis. We provide 24/7/365 care for children up to age 12, and this role covers weekend daytime shifts with a mixed-age group of children ages 3-12. You’ll help create a safe, fun, and nurturing environment where kids of all ages can learn, play, and thrive. Schedule: Saturday and Sunday day shifts, 8am-6pm for assigned shifts

Requirements:

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• Ability to pass a fingerprint background screening.
• Childcare experience required; experience with mixed-age groups (preschool through school-age) strongly preferred.
• Current CPR/First Aid certification.
• Passion for working with children and families.
