Chambliss Center for Children is hiring a part-time Teacher Assistant for its Little Scholars program in Chattanooga. The position offers training for the right candidate who is dependable, caring, and eager to learn, with a Monday–Friday schedule from 10:00 AM to 2:00 PM.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old with a High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Ability to pass a fingerprint background check.
• Experience working with young children (infant - 4 yrs old) in a classroom setting.
• Ability to work collaboratively with children, families, and coworkers.

Responsibilities

• Assist in supervising and caring for children ages infant through 4 years.
• Support daily classroom activities, play experiences, and learning opportunities.
• Help maintain a clean, organized, and welcoming classroom environment.
• Assist with meals, diapering, toileting, and other routine care needs.
• Build positive relationships with children and families.
