Chambliss Center for Children in Chattanooga, TN is hiring a Teacher Assistant for a convenient mid-day, part-time schedule (10am-2pm or 11am-2pm).

Enjoy summers and holidays off and work while your kids are in school. The role supports supervising and caring for young children, helping plan engaging activities, and maintaining a clean, organized classroom in collaboration with staff and families.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 or older with a high school diploma or GED
• Able to pass a fingerprint background check
• Experience in early childhood education is a plus
• Team player with a love for working with children and families

Responsibilities

• Supervise and care for children during all activities
• Help plan and lead fun, learning-based activities
• Keep the classroom clean and organized
• Work closely with other staff, parents, and volunteers
• Watch for children’s health needs and respond appropriately
