Child Development Schools is seeking a Part Time Assistant Teacher in Leland, North Carolina. You will work closely with the Lead Teacher to deliver engaging activities, maintain a safe and organized classroom, and support young learners through daily routines and play.

Responsibilities include direct interaction with children, observing development, communicating with families, and assisting with attendance and reports.

Part Time Assistant Teacher - Leland, North Carolina

Your role

As an Assistant Teacher at Child Development Schools, you will help create a classroom filled with discovery, creativity, learning, and joy. Working alongside your Lead Teacher, you will support young learners through meaningful experiences that encourage curiosity, confidence, kindness, and growth. From hands-on activities and storytelling to everyday learning moments, you will help shape a warm and welcoming environment where children feel safe, supported, and excited to explore the world around them.

What Your Day Looks Like

Pay And Benefits

Pay: 13-15 per hour, based on experience and education.
