Child Development Schools in Garner, North Carolina is seeking an Assistant Teacher to join our caring early childhood team. You will support the Lead Teacher with age-appropriate activities, help maintain a safe, welcoming classroom, and assist with daily routines, meals, and transitions.

You will observe children, share developmental notes with the Lead Teacher, and build positive relationships with families.

Assistant Teacher - Garner, North Carolina

Your role

As an Assistant Teacher at Child Development Schools, you will help create a classroom filled with discovery, creativity, learning, and joy. Working alongside your Lead Teacher, you will support young learners through meaningful experiences that encourage curiosity, confidence, kindness, and growth. From hands-on activities and storytelling to everyday learning moments, you will help shape a warm and welcoming environment where children feel safe, supported, and excited to explore the world around them.

You will serve as a trusted partner to families, a positive role model for children, and an important part of our collaborative teaching team dedicated to making early childhood education engaging, nurturing, safe, and fun.

What Your Day Looks Like

• Support the Lead Teacher in delivering age-appropriate lessons and activities for the classroom

Pay And Benefits

Pay: 13-15 per hour, based on experience and education.
