Job summary

Sunrise Preschools is seeking an Assistant Teacher to support the Lead Teacher and nurture young learners in a warm, engaging environment. You will participate in hands-on activities, storytelling, and daily routines that foster curiosity, confidence, kindness, and growth.

You will help create a safe, welcoming classroom and communicate regularly with families while assisting with attendance, documentation, and daily reports.

Responsibilities

• Support the Lead Teacher in delivering age-appropriate lessons and activities for the classroom
• Help maintain a safe, clean, and organized classroom that meets licensing and ratio requirements
• Engage directly with children during activities, meals, transitions, and outdoor time
• Observe children and share developmental notes with the Lead Teacher
• Build relationships with families through warm, consistent daily communication
• Assist with classroom documentation including attendance and daily reports

You will serve as a trusted partner to families, a positive role model for children, and an important part of our collaborative teaching team dedicated to making early childhood education engaging, nurturing, safe, and fun.

What Your Day Looks Like

• Support the Lead Teacher in delivering age-appropriate lessons and activities for the classroom

Pay And Benefits

Pay: $15.20-$16 per hour, based on experience and education.
