Job summary

Child Development Schools in Fort Worth, TX is seeking an Assistant Teacher to support early childhood education. Working with the Lead Teacher, you will help deliver hands-on activities, stories, and daily routines that foster curiosity, confidence, kindness, and growth.

You will contribute to a warm, safe classroom environment, build strong relationships with families, and participate in documentation of attendance and daily notes. Training and mentoring are provided.

Responsibilities

• Support the Lead Teacher in delivering age-appropriate lessons and activities for the classroom
• Help maintain a safe, clean, and organized classroom that meets licensing and ratio requirements
• Engage directly with children during activities, meals, transitions, and outdoor time
• Observe children and share developmental notes with the Lead Teacher
• Build relationships with families through warm, consistent daily communication
• Assist with classroom documentation including attendance and daily reports

You will serve as a trusted partner to families, a positive role model for children, and an important part of our collaborative teaching team dedicated to making early childhood education engaging, nurturing, safe, and fun.

What Your Day Looks Like

• Support the Lead Teacher in delivering age‑appropriate lessons and activities for the classroom
• Help maintain a safe, clean, and organized classroom that meets licensing and ratio requirements
• Engage directly with children during activities, meals, transitions, and outdoor time
• Observe children and share developmental notes with the Lead Teacher

• Assist with classroom documentation including attendance and daily reports

Pay And Benefits

Pay: $13-$14.00 per hour, based on experience and education.
