Job summary

Child Development Schools is seeking an Assistant Teacher to assist the Lead Teacher in delivering engaging, developmentally appropriate activities for young children. You will help create a warm, safe, and supportive classroom where curiosity and kindness are encouraged, and you will contribute to a collaborative teaching team.

You will observe and document child progress, communicate with families, and support daily routines including meals, transitions, and outdoor time.

• Support the Lead Teacher in delivering age-appropriate lessons and activities for the classroom
• Help maintain a safe, clean, and organized classroom that meets licensing and ratio requirements
• Engage directly with children during activities, meals, transitions, and outdoor time
• Observe children and share developmental notes with the Lead Teacher
• Build relationships with families through warm, consistent daily communication
• Assist with classroom documentation including attendance and daily reports

From hands-on activities and storytelling to everyday learning moments, you will help shape a warm and welcoming environment where children feel safe, supported, and excited to explore the world around them. You will serve as a trusted partner to families, a positive role model for children, and an important part of our collaborative teaching team dedicated to making early childhood education engaging, nurturing, safe, and fun.

What Your Day Looks Like

• Support the Lead Teacher in delivering age-appropriate lessons and activities for the classroom
• Help maintain a safe, clean, and organized classroom that meets licensing and ratio requirements

Pay And Benefits

Pay: $13-$14 per hour, based on experience and education.
