Job summary

Position is part-time (up to 29.5 hours/week), starting wage $16.50 per hour, with benefits not eligible. Fingerprint/background check required; high school diploma or equivalent necessary. Start date 09/14/2026.

Qualifications

• Candidates must be fingerprinted and pass a criminal background check.
• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• Ability to adapt to changing work priorities.
• Speak, read, write, and present professionally, analyze and interpret English communications.
• Ability to operate standard office equipment (phone, copier, scanner, fax, etc.).

Responsibilities

• Assist in developing and implementing daily activities to meet children’s needs and supervise for a safe learning environment.
• Provide basic care needs (toileting, diapering, changing clothes, feeding).
• Deliver age-appropriate activities and positive reinforcement to support development.
• Promote good hygiene and effective communication to foster positive development.
• Assist with classroom setup, cleanup, and routine tasks to maintain a clean, safe space.
• Assist with food preparation and snack service when certified.
• Administer basic first aid/medication if certified as assigned.
• Maintain attendance and other records; report observations to staff.
