The Sunshine House in Colorado Springs, CO is seeking a Daycare Assistant Director to lead daily operations at a childcare center and ensure licensing compliance. You will supervise staff, conduct family tours, and partner with families to deliver high-quality early education.

The role requires a degree in education, Colorado Shines Level 3+ director qualification, and prior childcare leadership experience. A strong commitment to child development and program quality is essential.

Responsibilities

• Help manage daily operations of childcare school, ensuring licensing requirements and company policies are met.
• Perform administrative duties, give tours to families, maintain records, ensure state licensing compliance, and keep operations smooth.
• Partner with families to provide the best care and education for children.
• Support teachers in implementing curriculum and creating developmentally appropriate classrooms.
• Nurture positive relationships with families, teachers, licensing representatives, and the community.
• Work in the classroom when needed to assist and support staff.

Compensation & Pay Range: $22.00-$24.00 hourly

Candidates with advanced education and experience in early childhood education may qualify for higher pay within the range. Regular increases are considered with additional education, stellar performance, and years of service.

Daycare Assistant Director Responsibilities
