Job summary

Mt. Bachelor is hiring a Childcare Aide in Bend, Oregon to care for children in our childcare center. You’ll assist in activities, serve meals, change diapers, lead outdoor play, and help maintain a clean, safe environment at day’s end.

Required First Aid and Child CPR certifications (online training is not acceptable) and completion of safety training within 30 days. Minimum age 15+. The role offers a $16.50/hour wage and employee perks including season passes and housing options.

Position Summary

Childcare Aides are responsible for the care and supervision of children in the childcare center. Duties include assisting in activities, serving lunch, changing diapers in the infant and toddler rooms, leading outdoor play activities, cleaning the center before, during, and at the end of the day, and any additional duties that would normally be expected in a childcare setting.

License/Certifications

First Aid and Child CPR (online training is not acceptable). Must complete a minimum of two hours of training regarding child abuse and neglect, OCC-approved health and safety training, and safe sleep training within 30 days of employment. Additional: A background check will be conducted before employment; a background in Child Development and Education is a plus but not necessary.
