Job summary

City of Georgetown, TX is seeking a part-time on-site childcare attendant for the Kids’ Club at the Georgetown Recreation Center. The role involves supervising and entertaining children, checking them in/out, greeting parents, and ensuring a clean, safe environment.

Applicants should be at least 16 and have reliable transportation. Experience in caring for children aged 1–9 and providing customer service is preferred.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 16 years old at the time of hire.
• Experience watching children ages 1–9 preferred.
• Experience providing customer service.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and entertain young children in accordance with Georgetown Recreation Center and Kids’ Club policies.
• Plan and lead activities.
• Greet parents and validate admission.
• Check children in/out of Kids’ Club.
• Record visitation throughout the shift.
• Light cleaning of the childcare room and toys.
• Performs routine maintenance and cleaning around the facility.
• Manually check in members.
• Check out the equipment.
• Provide potential members with tours.
• Stock the weight room and other areas with cleaning supplies.
• Answers multi-line telephone, provides information, takes messages, or directs calls.
