Job summary

YMCA of Custer is seeking a Childcare Assistant Teacher for our preschool classroom in Custer, SD. In this role you will help keep children safe, support growth, and deliver nurturing programming.

You will work with lead teachers, implement age-appropriate curricula, build positive relationships with children and families, and help maintain a clean, welcoming learning space. Training on YMCA Social and Emotional Curriculum, Conscious Discipline, is provided.

Qualifications

• Must follow YMCA safety procedures and state/local codes.
• Assist with age-appropriate curricula in preschool settings.
• Build positive relationships with children and families.
• Complete opening and closing procedures and incident reporting.

Starting Pay: $13.65 per hour

Location: Custer, SD

Hours of Operations: Monday - Friday, 7 am - 5:30 pm

Shift: Full-time and part-time availability!
