Qualifications

• Must be 21+ years old.
• Experience supervising staff, 4 years with children, and 16-hour Prevention Health Practice requirements.
• 4-year college degree in related field with additional coursework as listed.
• CPR and First Aid certification provided by YMCA.

Responsibilities

• Mentor children and staff; oversee operations and evaluations for quality growth.
• Enforce Licensing Title 22 regulations and YMCA safety protocols to protect participants.
• Build relationships with parents, school representatives, and the Parent Advisory Council.
• Model core values (Caring, Honesty, Respect, Responsibility) with positive reinforcement.
• Lead fundraising, manage parent-school relationships and promote programs to visitors.
