The U.S. Department of the Navy seeks a Child and Youth Program Custodian responsible for performing essential cleaning tasks in various facilities. This role involves maintaining a safe environment for children and youth, ensuring that custodial activities do not disrupt programs. The purpose of the Child and Youth Program Custodian position is to provide a variety of semiskilled labor and cleaning tasks for the CYP facilities, including Child Development Centers (CDCs), School Age Care (SAC) programs, Youth Programs, Child Development Home (CDH) offices, and lending libraries.
Duties
All custodial and housekeeping services will be performed according to established specifications. Child and youth routines will not be disturbed by custodial activities. Some cleaning services will be scheduled when programs are not in operation and children and youth are not present. The CYP custodian is responsible for cleaning and maintaining equipment and supplies. These tasks include:
