Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree required; Master’s preferred in related field.
  • Experience teaching in face-to-face, online and blended modalities.
  • Proficiency with current teaching technologies and LMS.

Responsibilities

  • Teach pre-service and ongoing education for DCYF staff in online/blended formats.
  • Consult on curriculum development, program evaluation, reporting and mentoring.
  • Coordinate course material development with Curriculum Specialists and Instructional Designers.
  • Provide attendance reports and timely grade submissions to support staff.
  • Ensure end-of-course evaluations are collected and reported to leadership.
  • Provide ongoing feedback to the Director and Assistant Director.
  • Maintain fluency in evolving child welfare and juvenile justice trends.
