Lutheran Child and Family Services of Illinois seeks a Case Aide Supervisor to lead a team of Case Aides, ensuring adherence to agency policies and high-quality service delivery in Illinois communities. The role emphasizes supervision, training, and timely documentation to support vulnerable families.

Qualifications include a degree in social work or related field (or substantial Child Welfare experience with a high school diploma) and strong leadership skills.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Associate’s Degree in Social Work, Human Service, Psychology, or a related field preferred.
• Minimum of 3 years of experience in Child Welfare required, or a high school diploma with 5 years of Child Welfare experience.
• Demonstrated organizational ability and scheduling/logistics experience.
• Excellent leadership and interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide case assignments, direct supervision, guidance, and support to Case Aides with adherence to agency policies and documentation.
• Oversee recruitment, hiring, and training processes for program staff.
• Maintain accurate reporting and records of case progress, incidents, and interventions; coordinate with community resources.
• Monitor assignments, visits, and documentation; ensure timely communication.
• Schedule and arrange visits, ensure safety, and oversee transport logistics as needed.
• Conduct regular supervision and professional development of staff.
• Lead weekly team meetings and coordinate with Home and Foster Care units as required.
• Assist with oversight of Initial Clothing and Equipment as needed.
• Travel through high-risk communities and occasional evenings/weekends.
