Job Description: Child Welfare Assistant - Case Aide

We are hiring full-time and part-time Child Welfare Assistant - Case Aides. The role involves transporting children, supervising visits between parents and clients, and documenting these interactions.

Essential Functions

• Monitor clients and connect them with appropriate services within LSSI and the community.
• Perform tasks outlined in the service plan.
• Transport clients as needed.
• Meet productivity standards set by the program director.
• Communicate with supervisors, work groups, and partner agencies regarding client and family status.

Position Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED; AA degree preferred. No prior experience required.
• Basic understanding of child development and parenting; strong communication skills.
• Ability to understand and empathize with clients' cultural, psychological, and practical needs.
• Legal compliance, including Illinois CANTS clearance.
• Valid Illinois driver’s license, automobile insurance, and access to transportation for home visits and client transport.
