Job summary

Qualifications

• Bachelor degree in human services or related field plus 2 years lead work or related experience.
• Bachelor degree unrelated to human services with coursework equivalent to Oregon Caseworker Competency and 2 years lead work in human services.
• Associate degree with 3 years human services related experience, 2 years lead work.
• Associate degree with coursework equivalent to Oregon Caseworker Competency and 2 years lead work in human services.

Responsibilities

• Engage and supervise staff by planning, executing, monitoring, and evaluating activities related to ODHS and Child Welfare.
• Ensure staff adhere to good social work practices, state and federal laws, and department policies; review quality and safety.
• Provide general training, orientation, mentoring, and consultations to staff.
• Maintain cooperative relationships with staff, community partners, children, and families.
• Make informed decisions regarding the level and type of services provided to client families.
