Job description

Child Welfare Permanency Workstream Lead – Technical Expert II

Join JBS International, Inc. as a subject‑matter expert focused on child welfare permanency goals. You will collaborate with technical experts, project leadership, and clients to design, deliver, and evaluate training and technical assistance (T/TA) for federal permanency initiatives.

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS
  • Maintain subject‑area expertise, share emerging trends, and recommend effective T/TA approaches.
  • Manage the design, delivery, and documentation of all TA activities, ensuring contractual and client requirements are met.
  • Collaborate with senior management and JBS clients to identify T/TA needs, analyze trends, and develop long‑term strategies to support jurisdiction performance.
  • Guide and supervise T/TA staff and consultants, develop scopes of work, and contribute to proposal preparation as needed.
Minimum Job Qualifications
  • Master’s degree in a relevant field.
  • At least 15 years of related experience, including deep expertise in child welfare, federal permanency goals, and child welfare data analytics.
  • Demonstrated experience supervising staff and managing technical assistance deliverables.
  • Must be eligible to obtain a Public Trust Clearance.
Location and Physical Requirements

Hybrid work from North Bethesda, MD or San Mateo, CA offices for candidates residing within a 50‑mile radius. Remote work for candidates outside that range.

Extended computer use, vision, dexterity, communication, mobility, lifting, and sensory abilities required for typical office environment with moderate noise levels.
