Georgia Department of Human Services is seeking a Child Welfare Services Case Manager 1 in Savannah, GA. You will learn to provide investigative and comprehensive case management for a caseload involving child and/or adult abuse or neglect, under supervision.

The role reports to the Child Welfare Services Supervisor and is part of the DFCS Division of Family & Children Services, with a generous benefits package and telework opportunities depending on the position.

Formación

• Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university.
• Under supervision, learns to provide investigative and comprehensive case management for a caseload involving child/adult abuse or neglect.

Responsabilidades

• Initiates timely, face-to-face responses to screened-in reports of alleged child maltreatment and conducts safety assessments.
• Develops safety plans to address identified safety concerns.
• Collaborates with community partners to create systems of support for children and families.
• Ensures visits with children and families are frequent and of high quality to promote safety and well-being.
