Job summary

One Hope United in Tampa, FL seeks a Child Welfare Case Manager to provide direct case management for children, birth families, and foster families in home, day care, school settings, and more. You will coordinate services, plan with families, and advocate for resources.

The role requires a bachelor’s degree, CWCM Certification is preferred, and willingness to obtain CWCM within one year. Evening/weekend availability and reliable transportation are essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree approved by the Florida Board is required.
• CWCM certification is preferred but not required.
• Must be willing to obtain CWCM certification within 1 year of employment.
• Must be willing to complete 10 week training.

Responsibilities

• Arranges visitation schedule structured upon the completed visitation plan with input from parties.
• Assists in providing information and accompanies children to appointments as needed.
• Supports primary caregivers and/or foster families in implementing the case plan.
• Attends professional development training for growth as required.
• Identifies strengths, limitations, and needs to refer and coordinate services.
• Serve as a conduit of information between all parties and providers.
• Conduct visits with children, parents and caregivers to assess safety and well‑being.
• Develop and implement plans meeting the needs of children and families.
• Facilitate placement and delivery of services with families involved.
• Perform case management per laws and policies within required timeframes.
• Attend court hearings and prepare/file court documents on time.
