Job summary

Winnebago County's Human Services Office - Oshkosh is hiring a Social Work Specialist for Access/Initial Assessment. The role conducts access intake, documents CPS reports, assesses safety and risk, provides case management and referrals. Work hours 8am-4:30pm, 37.5 hours weekly, hourly pay $31.24-$34.72 with on-call pay.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master’s Degree in social work, human services, or a closely related field.
• Certification or licensure under Wisconsin Statutes chapter 457 as a Social Worker or related licensure; or certificated/licensed within two years of hire.
• Must possess a valid driver's license and access to a vehicle.
• Evidence of meeting minimum automobile liability insurance requirements per County Travel Ordinance.

Responsibilities

• Interviews clients to obtain information for client needs assessment and determines safety/risk for children and families.
• Establishes partnerships with families and community partners, provides information on resources.
• Documents all casework in accordance with laws and county policies.
