Job summary

Zarephath Behavioral Health Services in Yuma, Arizona is seeking a Hybrid Community-Based Therapist to meet families where they are—both virtually and in person—to support children through challenging times.

In this 1099 contract role, you’ll deliver holistic individual, family, and group sessions, collaborate with CPS and local agencies, and develop growth-focused treatment plans while engaging in weekly supervision to sharpen your clinical skills.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in counseling, social work, or related field.
• Licensure as LAC/LMSW/LPC/LCSW or equivalent required.
• Minimum 3+ years working with children and families; CBT/TF-CBT familiarity preferred.

Responsibilities

• Deliver holistic individual, family, and group therapy.
• Collaborate with families and community agencies (e.g., CPS, DDD) for coordinated care.
• Create individualized treatment plans to guide long-term outcomes.
• Participate in weekly supervision with Clinical Director to advance skills.

What You’ll Need to Join Us

• Education: Master’s Degree in Counseling, Social Work, or a related field.
• Licensure: LAC, LMSW, LPC, or LCSW (Associate-level clinicians receive supervision toward independent licensure!).
• Experience: 3+ years working directly with children; familiarity with CBT/TF-CBT is a major plus.
• Age: 21+ years old.
• Clearances: Valid AZ Driver’s License, Fingerprint Clearance Card, and CPR/First Aid certification.
• Insight: Knowledge of Arizona’s behavioral health system and the "12 Principles."
