Job summary

LifeStream Behavioral Center, Inc. is seeking a MA/MS Therapist (Unlicensed) to develop biopsychosocial assessments and deliver age-appropriate mental health care for children and adolescents.

The role requires a Master's degree in counseling-related field and at least two years of mental health experience, with strong communication, documentation, and collaboration skills to support patients and families. Ongoing professional development is encouraged.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in Counseling, Psychology, Social Work from an accredited institution.
• Minimum of two years' experience in the Mental Health field.
• Familiarity with therapeutic modalities applicable to mental health care.

Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough assessments of clients' mental health status and needs.
• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans based on assessment findings.
• Provide evidence-based therapeutic interventions to individuals, groups, and families.
• Monitor and document clients' progress and adjust treatment plans as necessary.
• Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive care.
• Maintain accurate and confidential client records in accordance with legal and ethical standards.
• Participate in case conferences, team meetings, and professional development activities.
• Educate clients and their families about mental health conditions and coping strategies.
• Advocate for clients' needs within the healthcare system and community resources.

Job Purpose:- CCOS provides mental health care for children and adolescents, ages 2 years to 18 or older if they are still attending high school.
