Job summary

LifeStream Behavioral Center, Inc. seeks a MA/MS Therapist (Unlicensed) to assess and address mental health needs for children and adolescents. You will develop biopsychosocial assessments and age-appropriate plans, delivering evidence-based interventions in collaboration with an interdisciplinary team.

You will maintain confidential records, participate in meetings, educate families, and stay current with best practices in mental health therapy.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in Counseling, Psychology, Social Work, or related field from an accredited institution.
• Minimum of two years' experience in the Mental Health field required.
• Familiarity with therapeutic modalities and techniques applicable to mental health care.

Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough assessments of clients' mental health status and needs.
• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans based on assessment findings.
• Provide evidence-based therapeutic interventions to individuals, groups, and families.
• Monitor and document clients' progress and adjust treatment plans as necessary.
• Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive care.
• Maintain accurate and confidential client records in accordance with legal and ethical standards.
• Participate in case conferences, team meetings, and professional development activities.

Job Purpose:- CCOS provides mental health care for children and adolescents, ages 2 years to 18 or older if they are still attending high school.
