WV Department of Human Services is seeking a trainee in Mercer County to support entry-level financial duties within the Bureau for Child Support Enforcement (BCSE). The role focuses on learning to conduct audits of BCSE cases and analyze transactions for caretakers and obligors.

As a Training capacity position, you will verify data in both physical case files and the automated system, review legal documents, and assist with caretaker accounting, including handling overpayments and refunds,

Qualificações

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Four (4) years of clerical and/or paraprofessional experience.
• Substitution: 30 credit hours of education may substitute for the required experience.

Responsabilidades

• Learn and perform entry-level financial duties to conduct audits of BCSE cases at BCSE Field Offices or the State Office Financial Unit.
• Analyze transactions for caretakers and obligors.
• Verify data in physical case files and the automated system.
• Review valid legal documents and court orders for accuracy.
• Perform caretaker accounting to calculate amounts owed and handle overpayments/refunds.
• Position located in Mercer County.
