Job summary

Jackson County Missouri is seeking a dedicated Family Support Associate to perform specialized investigative and child support work. You will handle orders, initiate enforcement actions, and oversee caseloads from initiation to emancipation, interviewing custodial and non-custodial parents, employers, and other agency staff as needed.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Two years of work-related experience in child support enforcement, insurance claims, credit, or related investigative fields.
• Notary Public qualification in Missouri.
• Valid Missouri Driver’s License.
• Pass post-offer drug screen and background check.

Responsibilities

• Perform specialized investigative and child support work.
• Establish orders and initiate enforcement to collect payments.
• Manage caseload from initiation to emancipation.
• Interview custodial/non-custodial parents, employers, and agency staff.
• Gather evidence to support setting or negotiating support obligations.
