This is a heartwarming opportunity for compassionate providers who love making a difference! We work with members throughout Wisconsin to find providers that fit each of their needs. Our goal is to help individuals be in more control of their own supports and to have a say in who is assisting them. This helps them to stay in their own homes as long as possible.
We are currently seeking a kind, patient, and outgoing respite provider for a very sweet and active elementary-aged boy. This child is on the Autism spectrum (no experience required, just openness to learn). He is mainly nonverbal but will sometimes use his words to communicate his needs. Family is open to him being around other children, but is unsure how he will interact with them. 1:1 would also be great. This creative young man is very talented with drawing and building, and would love someone who would encourage these qualities. You must be able to keep up with him, as he is very active!
Pay: $14.13/hour
Location: Child resides in Chippewa Falls, WI
Schedule: 20 hours per month, Saturdays or Sundays (flexible)
