Job summary

Consumer Direct Care Network is seeking a compassionate Respite Worker to provide care for an elementary-age child with Autism in the child’s home in Wisconsin. You will supervise, assist with daily living activities, and engage in activities in the community while ensuring safety and comfort for the child. The role requires a valid U.S.

work authorization, background check, and reliable transportation. Training will be provided by the employer/family; a flexible schedule including afternoons,

Qualifications

• Authorized to work in the U.S.
• Criminal/Caregiver background check.
• Valid driver's license, reliable transportation, and auto insurance required.
• Ability to remain active & be fast on your feet and ready to keep up!
• Compassionate individuals with childcare or respite care experience preferred.
• Experience with children with Autism or development disability preferred.

Are you a compassionate individual who has previous experience working with children with developmental disabilities and limited verbal/communication skills? If so, then this is the position for you!

We are seeking a Respite Worker to provide respite care for an elementary-age child with Autism! This child loves playing on the trampoline, going to parks, being outdoors, and riding his adaptive bike.

Respite care will be conducted in the child's home. Community outings are also encouraged.

WAGE

$17.66 per hour (pay increase based on experience)

SCHEDULE

• Afternoon, Evenings, and Weekends (Saturday/Sunday)
• Flexible Schedule to be determined by family.
