Hoke County Schools is seeking a Child Nutrition Warehouse Manager for a 10-month term in Raeford, NC. The role reports to the Child Nutrition Executive Director and carries full-time responsibilities with exempt status.

The position requires a high school diploma or GED (Associates preferred), a NC CDL with endorsements, ServSafe certification, and the ability to manage logistics and HACCP compliance. Daily duties include inventory and commodity handling within the Child Nutrition program.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED as minimum; an Associate degree is preferred.
• Certification in ServSafe or Safe Food Handling is required or preferred.
• Must possess and maintain a NC CDL with proper endorsements.
• Must pass a DOT drug and alcohol test.

Responsibilities

• Assumes duties of Child Nutrition Custodian as needed.
• Assist in schools as directed by the Child Nutrition Executive Director.
• Manage and deliver approximately $450,000 in commodities annually.
• Follow HACCP procedures and complete HACCP Records.
• Enter inventory using Meal Plus Program and operate POS system.
• Operate forklift safely when trained.
• Attend training, manager meetings, and other professional events.
• Coordinate and supervise staff in storage of delivered products.
